Individual Support for New Mothers
New motherhood is life-changing. Whether it’s your first baby or your fourth, pregnancy, childbirth and it is completely normal to experience feelings of exhaustion and overwhelm. We are here to provide new mothers with individualized support to find your groove.
Our team of Bay Area clinicians offers short-term, evidence-based individual therapy and coaching for mamas, in addition to weekly drop-in support groups! Little ones are always welcome in our baby-centric spaces. Clients can expect to find nursing pillows, bouncers, changing pads and stations, and a baby scale, as well as snacks and comfy seats for mom!
Therapy and coaching is tailored to client needs and selected areas of focus including anxiety, low mood, relationships, adjustment, return to work and other issues common in the postpartum period. We offer flexible scheduling, timing, frequency and duration of appointments, and we try to work with clients to make a plan that is effective, accessible and affordable. We are also available to offer referrals to help connect you with specialized clinicians or other geographically convenient providers, support and services.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I expect that I will attend sessions?
We know that it can be tough to get out the door with a new baby in tow. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to access support. For that reason, session frequency and length are flexible. We believe that weekly sessions can be helpful, particularly as we begin to get to know each other. In some situations, depending on your location, our therapists even do home visits if you’re not able to make it in to us!
Can my baby come with me?
YES! We love babies. Our clinical offices have nursing pillows, bouncers, changing pads, and a baby scale to make your visit more comfortable.
How much does it cost?
Fees are consistent with standard therapy rates in the Bay Area, and vary by provider. Please contact us directly for specific information at email@example.com. We ask clients to supply credit card billing information via our secure online system, and sessions are charged to your card on file. Should you have PPO health insurance, a health savings account (HSA), or a medical flexible spending account (FSA), we are happy to provide documentation for you to submit for reimbursement. Limited need-based sliding scale spots available.
