Mighty Kids

Mighty Kids will introduce and refresh K-6 kids to mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral strategies through fun experiential activities, guided by a 15-minute lesson or theme!

What is Mighty Kids?

Mighty Kids is a speedy one-hour mindfulness-based workshop for kids in Grades K-6! Workshops are themed around noticing emotions and practicing compassion. Nina Kaiser, Ph.D. introduces kids to mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral strategies with a brief lesson. Kids then put their skills to action through a mindful art activity with Julia Barzizza, and giggle-filled yoga with Children’s Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher Tara McLaughlin!
