Mira Diwan

Mira Diwan (she/her) is the Testing Intake Coordinator at Practice San Francisco. She is a Bay Area native and completed her Bachelor of Science in Public Health at Santa Clara University, where she learned the value of caring for the whole person.

She became interested in mental health and supporting children and their families after a summer internship in India, where she conducted a research study on the importance of integrative care and cross-provider communication for children with disabilities.

Prior to joining Practice, she conducted a variety of clinical trials at Stanford, UCSF, and the Scripps Research Institute, where she thoroughly enjoyed forming close relationships with patients and their families and working on process improvement initiatives.

She also learned just how complex navigating the healthcare system can be, so she strives to streamline the process for individuals and their families so they can get the best care available.

Outside of work, she loves to try new coffee shops and restaurants, watch artistic performances, travel whenever she gets the chance, and break a sweat in a group fitness class.
