CLINICAL PROGRAM
Clinical Groups
for Children
We offer clinical groups for elementary school-aged children designed to teach the same sorts of evidence-based emotional awareness and self-regulation skills that we teach in therapy! As with our individual therapy, these small therapy groups for kids are state-of-the-art, grounded in scientific research, and skills-focused– and we give parents of participating children information about what we are covering in-session and ideas for ways to support kids in applying and generalizing the skills they learn.
About Our Clinical Groups
Our clinical groups are led by licensed clinicians and experienced support staff, with a high staff-to-student ratio (1:4 in groups that are fully enrolled). Groups run in-person at both our San Francisco and Mill Valley locations.
Our current child clinical group offerings include:
Our flagship Mighty Minds program teaches kids in grades K to 5 mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral skills around managing stress, anxiety, and big emotions. This program is open both to students proactively building coping skills and resilience and to students who already are experiencing anxiety, stress, or difficulty with emotion regulation.

Cost per Session
Cost depends on the number of sessions and duration of each session. Our coordinator will provide you with information regarding fees during an initial screening call. We do not accept health insurance directly, although we are happy to supply families with documentation necessary for reimbursement by PPO health insurance or medical flexible spending or health savings accounts.
As the result of the 2022 No Surprises Act, please be aware that you have the right to receive a good faith estimate of healthcare treatment costs. Your Good Faith Estimate will be uploaded to your client portal at the time that you schedule an initial appointment. However, you can ask our intake coordinator or your provider for this estimate before you schedule a service or at any other time during treatment. If you receive a bill over $400 more than your good faith estimate, you can dispute the bill. For more information regarding the good faith estimate and/or dispute process, see your good faith estimate or visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
