Our Social Skills group utilizes evidence-based strategies to support kids in learning and practicing social skills to navigate various social dynamics. Over the course of 10 weeks, we will establish the foundations for building and maintaining positive friendships. We will also explore how to show up in friendships in a way that feels good. Through role-play, interactive games, small group discussion, and individual reflection, participants will learn about the science behind our desire to belong, receive tips for effective communication, practice reflective listening, employ empathetic strategies for making repairs when conflict occurs, and more. Our goal is for each participant to leave the group feeling more empowered and confident in navigating social dynamics and building strong, healthy friendships.
